for the tide. Prior to the
coronation, the swine
show will take place at 6
p.m. in the swine tent,
and the baked goods
will be auctioned off at
6:30 p.m. in the show
tent.
The first contest of
the week, the Super Pea
nut Scramble sponsored
by the Reinholds VFW,
is scheduled to begin at
8; 30 p.m. Tuesday in the
show tent. The first
night’s activities will
conclude with a free
fireworks display at
9:30 p.m.
On Wednesday at 7
SWINE SHOW
p.m. the parade steps off
from the Cocalico High
School. Judges will
award trophies to floats,
baton groups, drum and
bugle corps, and high
school bands. Once
again BRCA-TV will be

ing contest, to begin at
6:30 p.m. at the main
stage area. The evening
will conclude with the
Mudflaps performing
on the main stage at 7
p.m.
Saturday, the closing
day of the Fair, is spon
sored by The Ephrata
National Bank and fea
tures the Matinee Ride
Special from 1 p.m.-5
p.m. as well as a number
of contests to be held
throughout the day. The
pet show, sponsored by
The Personal Touch,
will begin at 9 a.m. on
the stage, and the pedal
power tractor pull at 10
a.m. on Spruce Street
The Baby Parade will
begin at noon in the hos
pitality tent, and the
Smelly Sneaker Contest
at 3 p.m. on the stage.
