and the balance was unchanged. The mark
et tone was steady for the large sizes, and
steady to firm for mediums. Demand
ranged light to sometimes good, best where
features were in progress. Supplies of large
sizes were adequate to fully adequate and
mediums were tight to adequate.

mediums in the Midwest, Northeast and
Southeast, and unchanged on the balance
The market tone was steady for the large
sizes, and steady to instances firm for
mediums. Demand covered the full range
and was mostly moderate; features con
tinned to provide the best movement. Sup
plies of jumbos remained in the tightest
position, extra-large were about adequate,
large were adequate to fully adequate, and
mediums were tight to adequate. Breaking
stock supplies were usually adequate from
regular sources, and demand for extra offer
ings was generally light.
