Allas is the 15-year-old daugh ter of Jimmy and Claudia Atlas, Grandview, Texas. She is a sopho more and is ranked in the top 10 percent of her high school class. She has served as treasurer of Na tional Junior Honor Society, a starting forward on her basketball team, and was selected as a mem ber of the Duke Talent Search. The Pennsylvania state plowing contests will be held on the Rent zel Farm, one mile north of the square in Manchester on Rt. 181, in conjunction with Old Tyme Days. There will be a seminar on plow adjustment on Thursday, Aug. 27 at 1 p.m. State plowing matches in small and large will begin at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 28. Wadlow is the 20-year-old daughter of Clayton and Sharon Wadlow, Jerseyville, 111. She is a junior at the University of Illinois, where she is majoring in animal sciences-beef production. She is a member of the collegiate livestock judging team and Hoof & Horn. Wadlow plans to pursue a career in bovine embryology. Wadlow serves on the National Junior Polled Hereford Council. In 1995, she served on the Nation al FFA Membership Improvement Committee, and she has been the secretary of the Jerseyville FFA Alumni chapter since 1995. She was the 1993 Illinois state 4-H public speaking champion. Vogel is the 19-year-old son of Alvin and Donna Vogel. Evans City, Pa. He is a junior at Penn State University, whre he is ma joring in dairy and animal science. Vogel is involved in Block & Bri dle and the Pennsylvania Junior Cattlemen’s Association. In 1994, he received the Northwestern Pennsylvania Cattlemen’s Asso ciation Junior Herdsman Award, and in 1996 he was a delegate to National 4-H Congress.
