In the future when Christiansen
returns to the family dairy, he
would like to give to others as
dairying has given to him. Brian
wants to build a facility that teach

milk doesn’t come from a gallon
jug.

Jeffrey was a strong leader at
the University of Kentucky as
Dairy Club president. Alpha Zeta
Chancellor, ADSA first vice pre
sident, a Block and Bridle mem
ber, as a member of the dairy
judging team, in the Catholic
Newman Center while maintain
ing a GPA of 3.71. Bewley was re
cognized as the 1997 Southern
ADSA outstanding student

Andrea Steffens was raised on
her family’s registered Holstein
farm near Clermont, lowa and is
no stranger to commitment and
dedication. Andrea worked above
and beyond the average as a dairy
cattle judge, Dairy Science Club

McCullough Scholarship
National Dairy Shrine (NDS)
has announced the first two win
ners of the Marshall E. McCul
lough scholarships. They are in
memory of the well known Geor
gia nutrition research and educa
tor, Marshall McCullough.
The new scholarships will be
awarded to incoming college
freshmen planning to major in
dairy/animal science with a com
munications emphais or in agri
cultural journalism with a dairy
emphasis. One $2,500 scholarship
will go to the winner and one
$l,OOO scholarship to the runner
up.
