That’s exactly what Andrew Bok, a 10-year-old 4-H’er from Defiance, Ohio, has done with his heifer. “Vera,” in the 1998 Pot O’Gold Production Contest spon sored by the American Jersey Cat tle Association of Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Andrew is the winner of the 1998 Pot O’Gold Production Con test Twenty-two heifers sold in two Pot O’Gold sales in 1995 were eli gible for this event. First-calf lac tation records for each entry were standardized, the dollar value was calculated using Federal Order 33 multiple component pricing (MCP), and then ranked.
