The market tone ranged steady to weak, mostly weak. Demand remained light to fairly good, mostly fair. Supplies of jumbo and extra-large were tight to adequate, and large through small were adequate to ample, except large were occasionally tight on the West Coast and in Florida. Breaking stock supplies were adequate to fully adequate, and demand for additional offer ings was very light. Light type hen offer ings remained sufficient for full slaughter schedules.
