Steer and heifer calves steady to 2.00 lower, decline on calves over 525 lbs. Calf demand good as low pressure system has moved clouds into the state with a few light tains last night and today. Predictions for more rain this week best in a month. Quality plain to average. Weigh-ups highly varied but mostly avera geaand this much improved for buyers from last week's full conditions. Feeder cattle in thin to medium flesh; calves in medium to slightly fleshy conditions. Slaughter cows steady to 1.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 1.50 lower. Packer demand moderate.
