JACKSON TOWNSHIP YORK COUNTY
NOTICE OF SALE OF BARN AND SILOS
Jackson Township, York County, hereby invites
sealed bids for the sale and removal of a 50'xlOO'
timber frame dairy barn and three silos. The barn
contains a large number of oak and poplar timbers
and planking in excellent condition. Two of the silos
are Harvestore silos. The structures are located on
the future site of the Jackson Township Sewer
Authority wastewater treatment plant.
Barn and silos may be bid separately. All structures
shall be sold in "as is" condition to the highest bid
der; sealed bids must be received no later than 7:30
PM (prevailing time) Tuesday, September 1, 1998
and shall be opened by the Board of Supervisors at
their regularly scheduled meeting of the same date in
the meeting room of the Jackson Township
Municipal Building, RD 4, Box 4308, Roth's
Church Road, Spring Grove, PA 17362, phone
(717) 225-5661. Inspection shall be by appoint
ment during regular business hours.
All bidders shall be required to furnish proof of
insurance. All bids shall remain firm and in effect for
forty-five days, subject to the Township's right of
acceptance. The Jackson Township Board of
Supervisors hereby reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all bids, and to make any award in the
best interests of Jackson Township.
