ATLANTA, GA.
JULY 29, 1998
DELMARVA BROILER/FRYER
MARKET. FEDERAINSTATE
Movement of ready-to-cook whole birds
was light and typical erf midweek activity.
Seller offerings remained in short supply
on the heavier weights; fully adequate to
ample on the smaller sizes Live supplies
were mostly moderate; weights were desir
able to light Processing schedules were
moderately heavy. Less than trucklot ask
ing prices were 1 cent higher at 69 to 83
cents. Trade sentiment remained firm on
the 3 pound and up sizes; barely steady to
weak on the balance. In the parts complex,
volumes and items varied from plant to
plant, but supplies were fully sufficient for
the light and unaggressive buying interest.

NORTHEAST BROILER/FRYER
PARTS - PART I FEDERADSTATE
Trucklot buying interest was of a light
and spotty nature Offerings were irregu
larly available and sales reported in a much
wider range than usual. Demand through
most outlets was still disappointing with
first of-lhe-month interset very limited.
The market tone was uneasy as a difference
of opinion in regards to prices kept most
traders in a confused state.
