CATTLE; Compared to Tuesday; a
good offering of slaughter steers sold
steady to firm, instances 50 higher. Hols
tein steers and slaughter heifers were most
ly steady. The quality, as a whole, was
much improved from last week and most of
the cattle were sold in good sized uniform
bunches. Lean slaughter cows sold mostly
steady to .50 higher, while the fleshier
cows (less than 85 percent lean) were
mostly 1.00 higher. Slaughter bulls were
steady. Supply included 52 percent slaugh
ter steers and 34 percent slaughter cows.

to the farm.
