When my parents moved to
the farm that they purchased in
1919, it was a rather simple
move. They had a wagon of fiir
niture and one of wood to cook
and heat the house. Their par
ents gave them a few chickens
plus one cow and one heifer. A
load of hay and one of fodder
came from his home on a neigh
boring farm.
There was much work to be
done as fences needed repair. A
