Pears was also the best animal bred and owned in the show for Oakview Ridge Holsteins owners Cat! and Martha Bender. Reserve champion in the youth division was Berkline Dazzler Co coa. owned by Robert Landis, Berlin, and shown in the six years and older class. She is a daughter of Pencol Dazzler-ET and Berkline Eleva tion Cora. The breeder was Nancy Berkley from Berlin. Also in the youth division Phil ip Petenbrink of Garrett was rec ognized for having the best animal bred and owned, and tieing for premier breeder with Ben Powell of Meyersdale. Katie McWilliams of Somerset was the premire exhibitor. In the open show of heifers and calves Juliana Hillegass of Beilin had the champion and Melinda Thomas from Bruceton Mills, W. Va. had the reserve. Hillegass showed the youth show champion and Jenna Fox of Rockwood showed the reserve champion. Ringmaster for the show was Pete Hamming and Carol Brown did the catalog. John Fox and Paul Coountry man handled check-ins and Bob Brown was the announcer. Felicia Maust and Stacey Ream were responsible for trophies and sponsors.
