HEYLER FARM
the family since 1840 and passed down through the generations.
They farm 330 acres and milk 44 Holstelns In a tiestall barn. Herd
average Is 20,000 pounds of milk. They feed mostly haylage and hay
grown on the farm. As a conservation practice they plow a minimum
number of acres each year. They have a good outlook on the dairy
business and believe there will always be a place for the family dairy
farm.
