Located south of Atgien, off of Glen Run Road, the John and Elsie Smoker family operate the 76-acre Glen Run Way Farm, named for Glen Run, a stream that runs through the farm’s road-edging pas ture. The farmstead itself sits backoff the road, and the 200-yard lane is a older municipal roadway that used to cut through the farm, but eventually was closed and reverted to farm ownership. John said he has about 60 acres tillable and milks about 40 grade Holsteins out of a 32-stall bank barn. Other buildings on the farm include an imple ment shed, and shed for pet goats.
