Prices were unchanged for whites, and
unchanged to lower on the balance. The
market tone was steady for whites, and
steady to weak for whole and yolks, and
yolks were in the weakest position.
Demand was very light to instances fair.
Supplies were at least adequate. Liquid and
frozen eggs (ingredients included) pro
cessed under federal inspection in the East
ern region for the week ending July 4,1998
were 11% less than last week, and 20%
more than the same week last year.
