Lisa Heimbach Represents Four Counties MT. PLEASANT MILLS (Sny der Co.) Lisa Hcimbach, daughter of Robert and Vicky Heimbach from Mt. Pleasant Mills, was crowned the 1998 SUN Area Dairy Princess. She was crowned by the 1997 SUN Area Dairy Princess Jodi Musser. San dra Beck, daughter of Lester and Celia Beck of New Columbia, was named first alternate princess. Sandy Opdyke, daughter of Char les and Ann Opdyke of McClure, was announced second alternate princess. The SUN Area Dairy Princess Pageant was held Saturday eve ning June 13 at the Susquehanna Valley Mall, Selinsgrove. “SUN” Area includes Snyder, Union, Northumberland, and Montour counties. The Boscov Store in the Susquehanna Valley Mall, sponsored the Ag and Dairy Days along with the help of the SUN Area Dairy Princess Promo tion Committee and local busi nesses. The 24th annual Daily Princess Pageant began with Dawn Marie of Big County Radio serving as the mistress of ceremonies. Ten Daily Maids, Christina Brosious, Sarah Erdley, Selena Hollenbach, Tina Hollenbach, Leslie Kena mond, Jennifer McWilliams, Tara Rice, Jessica Risser, Rachel Ris scr, and Susan Showers partici pated. Turkey Hill Dairies of Conestoga furnished 138 gallons of premium ice cream, 10 gallons of chocolate sauce, 25 pounds of pecans, and 5 gallons of black cherries. Contestants, FFA members from Middleburg, Mifflinburg, Selinsgrove, and V/est Snyder high schools, dairy maids, daily misses, and the SJJN Area Dairy Princess Committee dipped and served the public free ice cream sundaes.
