DELMARVA BROILER/FRYER
MARKET. FEDERAL^STATE
Movement of ready-to-cook whole birds
continued to slow and was tight and unag
gresive. Offerings were adequate to ample
on the heavier sizes; adequate and general
ly in good balance on the smaller sizes.
Live supplies were mostly moderate;
weights were desirable to heavy. Process
ing schedules were moderately heavy. Less
than truck!ot asking prices were unchanged
at 65 to 79 cents. Trade sentiment was
steady at best. In the parts complex, all
items were at least adequate. Demand for
most items was light and selective.
