No Till System Sets New Standards
ATLANTA, Ga.- No Till seeding
is even faster and more accurate
with the new Ttye 2000 No Till
System from AGCO.
New production-enhancing
features are combined with the
proven four-step seeding system
to create a drill system that
meets no till productivity needs.
"We know our farm cus
tomers have no time to spare
when it comes to putting in their
crops," said Andy Anderson, Tye
marketing manager. "They have
also told us that capacity has to
be matched with accuracy. Our
new 2000 no tills set new stan
dards in both of these areas.
Operators will also be safer with
our standard operator conve
nience package that includes a
double width folding walkboard,
steps, handholds, lights, flash
ers, and safety chains,"
For the capacity side of the
equation, Tye engineers have
(Continued from Pago D 6)
designed a grain box that holds
more, fills faster, and protects
the seed better. The new design
features a 2.8 bushel per foot
grain box for greater fill volume
and fewer stops to refill. The
new 14-mch wide fill opening
allows faster fills, while the nar
row 2-3/4-inch box bottom with
seed shedders ensures complete
feeding and fast and easy
cleanout. The latch-free lid
means less hassle at fill, while
the rainguard design keeps seed
safe and dry.
Single down pressure spring
and smooth-sided E-Z Adjust
presswheels have been added to
the 2000 No Till System. The 40
pounds per inch spring down
pressure with single turnbuckle
adjusters assures uniform down
pressure for optimum depth
control while the E-Z Adjust
presswheels fine tune depth con
trol to enhance positive soil/seed

Addition of the ADC 2000
Automatic Depth Control option
makes depth control adjustment
and seed placement even easier
and more accurate. The ADC
2000 automatically adjusts coul
ter depth to changes in the field
surface, ensuring consistent
seed placement, and uniform
seed depth.
Field records and operator
efficiency are enhanced with the
addition of the new electronic
acre meter and optional pro
grammable electronic drill mon
itor. Quickly and easily
installed, the monitor records
acreage of individual fields and
total acres, and monitors seeder
shaft rotation and seed bin lev
els.
