coach will load at 6:45 a.m. at
the Historical Society on July
30, leave at 7:00 a.m.; and
return Saturday evening,

HAM LOAF
Mix and form two loaves in
9x13-inch cake pan;
Grind together
2 pounds ground ham
2 pounds ground pork
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
'A cup milk
3 eggs
Mix and pour over top;
1 can tomato soup
1 cup brown sugar
'A cup vinegar
A cup water
l A teaspoon dry mustard
Bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours.
This recipe is from my mom,
Alice K. Harris, who passed away
June 1996. It is a family tradition I
carry on for my family at Easter.

PEANUT BUTTER FINGERS
Cream together
'A cup shortening
'A cup granulated sugar
'A cup brown sugar
A cup peanut butter
Add and mix together
1 egg
A teaspoon vanilla
Add:
1 cup flour
1 cup quick oats
'A teaspoon baking soda
'/ teaspoon salt
Put in greased 9x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for IS
minutes. Remove from oven.
Sprinkle with 1 cup chocolate
chips. Let stand S minutes then
spread. Cool. Frost with:
1 cup confectioners’ sugar
'A cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons milk
This is a favorite of my two sis
ters and me as well as my home
room at school. My mom says she
made these for 25 years now and
we all love them.
