CATTLE Compared to Thursday,
slaughter steers and heifers sold
mostly steady There were several
spots of weakness evident, however, a
rather large offering sold with the
highest prices paid late in the sale A
good portion of the steer supply was
made up of well-fed Holstems A light
offering of slaughter cows sold fully
steady and slaughter bull trade was active
and firm Supply consisted of around
72 percent slaughter steers and 8 per
cent slaughter cows
