better off financially than what
they were before they were in
jured,” Donaldson said. “The sys
tem was not designed for creating
wealthy individuals.”
This aspect of the civil justice
system needs to be reformed, Don
aldson said.
Frivolous lawsuits are another
problem which clog the court sys
tem and boost the cost to doing
business in the stale. The Civil Jus
tice Coalition plans to intmdmy.
legislation that will reduce the
number of frivolous lawsuits,
Donaldson said.
