Notice of
Barn and Tobacco Shed Available
East Lampeter Township
Proposals are being requested from interested
persons for the removal of a barn and a tobacco
shed located at 69 Strasburg Pike These
buildings are described as follows:
1) Shingled Roof, Frame Barn (65x55) with Silo
and Milkhouse (15x25)
2) Shingled Roof, Frame Tobacco Shed (60x35)
3) 2 wire corn cribs next to tobacco shed
4) 1 small frame shed next to the com cribs
Proposals must be submitted in writing and
indicate who is making the proposal, proposed
reuse of the structures, proposed compensation
to the Township for the structures and the
proposed time fable for the removal It is the
Township's desire that these structures or at
least their materials be reused. The Township
will require that the stone foundations of the barn
and tobacco shed remain as is and that all other
material be removed for reuse or disposal A
certificate of insurance with satisfactory
coverage limits and naming the Township as an
additional insured will be required prior to the
beginning of work The successful bidder will be
required to obtain a demolition permit from the
Township for each structure Interested persons
may inspect the structures by making an
appointment with the Township and visiting the
site by May 15, 1998
