Forage And Grassland Council Conference Successful INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - 1998 American Forage and Grassland Council Conference (AFGC) was held here in March. More than 15 attendees were from Pennsylvania. The theme of the conference was “Forages at the Crossroads”. The attendees heard a number of speakers covering topics such as the environment, wildlife, production, and utilization of forages. Topics covered included research on alfalfa, broomegrass and alfalfa pastures, clover, grazing, pastures, and rota tional grazing among the 19 papers offered. Attendees also had the opportuni ty to tour some facilities in central chaffer and sieve for even finer cleaning and separation.
