WHY IS SUPER FLAKED CORN BETTER?
Flat rolled steam flaking disrupts the cellular structure of the corn kernels (gelatinization) and increases sites
for microbial attachments resulting in improved starch (carbohydrate) digestion in the rumen. In simple terms,
the cow uses more of the nutrients because the rumen bugs can get to them and much less com nutrient
goes out in the manure.

Tnicklot buying activity was light with
traders unagressive. Offerings were mixed
in their availability, with a larger than usu
al difference of opinion in regards to values
making sales difficult to consumate. Retail
and distributive movement was mostly
reported as slower than usual. The market
tone was highly unsettled with traders cau
tious and uneasy about making committ
ments.
