There were 10 Yorkshire boars entered in the show and sale, selling for an aver age price of $385. Of the Yorkshire bred gilts, Wil son Yorkshires also showed the champion, that sold to Johnson for $250. Three bred gilts tied for top selling at $390 each. The average price for the 12 gilts shown and sold was $319. There were 17 head of York shire open gilts selling for an aver age price of $230. The champion and top selling was consigned by James T. Parlett and Sons of Air villc. It sold to Greg and Beth Inncrst of Red Lion for $3lO. In the Duroc breed, the champ ion and highest selling bred gilt was exhibited by Clyde McCo naughey of Smicksburg. It was purchased by Charles Billings of Parrish, N.Y. for $5lO. The aver age price paid for the three bred gilts shown and sold was $428. The champion Duroc boar was shown by Dave Holloway of Glen Rock. It sold for $325 to Calvin Lazarus and Sons of Whitehall. The highest selling boar was shown by Cory and Kevin Pfautz of Lititz. It sold for $4OO to John Corey of Scotland, Connecticut The champion and top selling Duroc open gilt was shown by Holloway and sold to Steve Wil son of New Freedom for $460.
