Herd consists of 235 cows in production and 40
bred Springing Heifers 80 head just fresh or will
freshen by sale day, balance of herd in various
stages of lactation. A lot of cows and heifers due
for spring summer and fall. Many fresh cows
milking from 75 to 100 lbs. plus. Herd is present
ly averaging 60 lbs. milk per cow and moving up.
This herd is not on test but milk sales last year
show herd average was 18,600 w/a 3.87 F and
160,000 SCC for February. This is a young herd
with good feet, legs and udders. 205 of these ani
mals are 2, 3 and 4 year olds. This herd is almost
all home raised and has been bred to milk. Cattle
are TB, Bangs tested, vaccinated, PC checked
w/records available day of sale. After 3 genera
tions of dairying, Beeghly Bros, have decided to
discontinue fanning operations. Whether you
need one or you need a truckload, this is one herd
you will want to see sell.
