David Bigelow of Williams burg has assumed the re sponsibilities of the marketing manager for Pa. DHIA. David has been with Pa. DHIA for 14 years, the last four as training coordinator. Prior to that responsibility, Dave served as region manager for northwest Pennsylvania and tech nician for Blair County. As marketing man ager, he will be respon sible for the develop ment of an aggressive market plan throughout the current service area as well as developing new market share throughout the United States. David will work directly with Dean Amick, director of field operations and market ing, in instructing and assisting the region managers and field tech nicians in implementing a planned approach* He will also teach all Pa. DHIA marketing programs and services, represent Pa. DHIA, teach marketing soils, make farm sales and conduct educational|nd marketing David was narked outstanding rookie' of the year in 1985 by Pa. DHIA, was an Award of Merit recipient for 1986 through 1989, Blair County Jaycee Out standing Young Farmer in 1982 and 1983, and was named the Pa. DHIA state office em ployee of the year in 1997. David and his wife Patty have four children and are members of the Williamsburg Inde pendent Bible Baptist Church.
