Demand turned good for feeder cattle as cattle Allures closed higher. Stocker cattle and calves 1.00-2.00 higher. Demand very good for stockers. Quality average to attractive, end plain. Feeder cattle in most ly moderate flesh off wheat. Stockers and adves in thin to medium flesh, few fleshy. Weigh-ups average to full, late many Aril. Cattle market followed the futures move ment upward despite the build up of slaughter ready cattle in feedlots in neigh boring states. Wheat pasture in the North and Western pert of the state are coming along nicely, however the dust is starting to blow and tain is needed. Southern Oklaho ma. on the other hand is drenched and many wheat fields are bogged down. Slaughter cows 1.00-2.00 lower. Slaughter bulls 1.00 lower. Packer demand moderate. Demand moderate to good for cows return ing to the country. Total of 1,000 cows and lulls sold with 20 percent going to peckers. Special stock cow sale accounted for 600 of the tout.
