Prices were one cent higher for the huge
sizes, ind unchanged for mediums. The
market tone was steady to firm. Demand
remained mixed, and was mostly moderate
with best movement into retail specials.
Supplies were generally adequate or avail
able, but extra eggs were held with
improved confidence.

Movement of ready-to-cook whole birds
remained seasonally light and unaggres
sive. Offerings varied from In good
balance to fully adequate. Live supplies
were moderate, instances light; weights
were irregularly light to heavy. Processing
schedules were moderately heavy. Less
than trucklot asking prices were unchanged
at 51 to 65 cents. Trade sentiment was gen
erally steady. In the parts complex, buying
interest was light and selective and typical
of mid-week activity. Boneless
breasts remained slow to clear. Bone-in
breasts were in a range of well halamvd to
ample. Leg quarters were fully adequate to
ample.
