As a curtain raiser for the con
vention, a mixer was held the
night before in the main ballroom.
At this time visiting guests were
introduced and the dedication
ceremony took place. Shrouded in
secrecy until die day of the con
vention opening was the fact that
the convention yearbook had been
dedicated to Albert B. Craig, Sew

time breeder in the State of Penn

the district by counties as well as
all known breeders on record. The
book was complied and edited by
Boyd Wolff of New Alexandria

highly complimented on his work.
General Chairman, J. Lewis
Williams presided over the “Mix

des, turned the room over for
round and square dancing. Dough
nuts and cider quenched the thirst
of the revelers and the night’s en-
tertainment was well enjoyed.
The dawn of “convention day n

weather but the day was quite
bright and cheerful and the crowd

Countess Maria Pulaski presented
her act She provided an amusing
and thrilling and certainly a very
revealing account of her life and
activities as a spy in the counter

of the most entertaining parts of
her presentation was her comment
concerning her private conversa
