Prices were generally higher. The mark
et tone was fully steady to linn. Demand
covered the full range and was mostly
moderate. Supplies were adequate. Liquid
and frozen eggs (ingredients included) pro
cessed under federal inspection for the
week ending January 17,1998 in the East
ern region were 4% more than the previous
week, and 7% more than the same week
last year. Raw material supplies were mix
ed from barely adequate to adequate, and
prices were generally higher.
