The market tone was steady to instances
firm. Demand was mostly moderate and
coveted the full range of light to good.
Supplies were liquid and frozen
eggs (ingredients included) processed
under federal inspection for the week
ending January 10,** 1998** in the East
ern region were 14% more than the previ
ous week, and 12% less than the same
week last year. Raw material supplies were
generally adequate from regular sources.

extra large, unchanged on mediums. The
market tone was fully steady to firm for the
large sizes, and steady for mediums.
Demand was fair to good, best where fea
tured. Supplies were barely adequate to
fully adequate with the large sizes in the
tightest position.
