Hundreds of vegetable growers from throughout the state are ex pected to attend the 1998 Pennsyl vania Vegetable Conference and Trade Show Jan. 27-29 here at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center. Sessions cm processing vege tables, general vegetables, bedding plants, brambles, and general mar keting will also be offered. Pesti cide 1 applicator update training credits are available to growers at tending the sessions. The program will feature three concurrent sessions on all three days. The conference is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Vegetable Grow ers Association. It is scheduled concurrently with the 139th An nual Meeting of the State Horticul tural Association of Pennsylvania, the state fruit growers association. The state horticultural societies of Maryland and New Jersey also meet in conjunction with their fel low fruit growers from Pennsylva nia.
