Bressner appreciated the excel
lent leanness, extension of lower
body, muscling, and overall vol
ume of the Landrace female, a
January gilt, LAG? MS Data Aris
(S: CR4 Data, D: LAGS Aris Nan
cy D). The gilt was shown by
Grant A. Lazarus 111,
Germansville.
Bressner picked the second
place gilt also shown by Lazarus,
LAG? MS Aris Omar (S: VBF3
Aris, D: LAG 4 MS Omar Dunn),
for reserve.
Poland China
The “very structurally correct
gilt, one that is free and easy in
movement” captured the attention
of Bressner for the champion
Poland China class.
The March gilt, CAB 7 Double
(S: CAB 6 Whinney, D: CAB 6 MS
Whinney) exhibited by Cheryl
Bennecoff, Kutztown, was a “very
feminine, very lean gilt,” said
Bressner.
Bressner selected the January
gilt also shown by Bennecoff,
CAB 7 Bal-Bo (S: TFS FBoDilla,
D: CAB 4 Bal Cnie) as reserve,
saying it makes an “excellent rep
resentative of the Poland China
breed.”
Spotted
Die March gilt in die Spotted
class was a “very excellent gilt,”
according to Bressner.
He enjoyed the gilt’s femininity,
muscle volume, and freedom of
movement, he said.
The champion. LLB 7 Justice
Stand, was shown by Les Lazarus
of Leslie and Lazarus Brothers,
Germansville. Reserve was shown
out of the February class, RA7
Gretchen (S: RAS Dozer 31-4, D:
RA6 Gretchen 7-6), shown by
Ginger Kegg of Rusty Acres,
Bedford.
Yorkshire
The gilts that made it to die
final. largest class of the day were
“structurally correct, long-footed,
lean hogs,” he said. Bressner
selected the January gilt exhibited
by Rattlesnake ML Farm, Julian.
He picked also the reserve champ
ion shown by Rattlesnake Mt
Farm
