DELMARVA BROILER/FRYER
MARKET. FEDERAL-STATE
Movement of ready-to-cook whole birds
was mostly fair to moderate and was gener
ally noted as keeping offerings in good
balance to tight Live supplies were mostly
moderate; weights remained mixed in a
full range of light to heavy. Processing
schedules were moderate to heavy. Plants
were planning to curtail operations tom
morrow and close Thursday for the holi

DAILY NATIONAL GRAIN
SUMMARY
Wheat bids close mixed. Very good
overnight sale to Pakistan offered some
support to wheat bids. However, export
sales compared to a year ago are very low
and prices sharply lower than the same
time a year ago. Com bids turned higher
after three consecutive days of lower
trends. Export demand very slow but
strength from fund buying and traders pos
itioning themselves ahead of the holidays,
underpinned bids. Soybean bids were near
steady with a weak undertone as lack of
export sales and year end liquidation sell
ing weighed on bids. Wheat mixed. Com 2
to 7 cents higher. Soigfaum 6 to 12 cents
higher. Soybeans steady to 1 cent lower.
