As a veterinarian with good knowledge of meats (and as a deer hunter as well), let me firmly state that his facts are in error. Sale catalogs and pedigrees were made available online and bidders registered for bidder numbers and passwords. Bidders from as far as Australia and South Africa joined with others for a total of 10 registered internet bidders. Three lots sold over the inter net, two going to Australia and one to Virginia. Silent Auction bids were accepted from Saturday morn ing, Nov. 8 until 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10 for the lots being offered. Fifteen lots averaged $3,166.67 with the top lot bring ing $6,200. Lisa Kunz-Womack made the final bid to purchase the top sell ing consignment of Phillip Hulsey, Cedartown, Ga. The con tending bidder was Graeme Horne, Victoria, Australia, via the Internet.
