Overall, 55 lots average
$5,587.27 at the sale held Nov. 9,
in Louisville Ky. This sale was an
international event as 11 lots were
purchased by foreign buyers from
three continents.

bull lots offered. “Diamond" is a

O’Gold Sale was held Sept. 5,
and averaged $2,000 on six lots.
The top-selling animal was con
signed by Rebob Farm, Inc.,
Tillamook, Oregon, and sold for
$2,600.
Rebob Barber Hurrah was a
heifer calf with a Pa. of

+I7BCYS, +2.2 Type, and +277
PTI. D.J. Josi, Tillamook,
Oregon, was the buyer of the calf

The two sales offered a total
of 22 elite Jersey heifers for
Jersey juniors. Seventeen per
cent of the gross of these sales is
added to a fund to provide cash
awards for the 2000 National
Pot O’Gold Production Contest.
The money will be awarded to
qualifying animals purchased in
this year’s National Pot O’Gold
Sales. Records will be adjusted
for age and month of calving
(mature equivalent), then
ranked according to multiple
component pricing.
