enlightening the committee on the
expected availability of a com
puterized heifer management
program by year-end. Setting the
final price for this program will be
forthcoming.
Currently, processing is in pro
cess of creating a fact sheet, which
identifies the different type of
computerized dairy management
systems that are available to
today’s modem dairymen. It was
also decided that bam cards
should receive a different design.
In order to accommodate this
request, the committee designed a
new updated bamcard. This will
be veiy instrumental in marketing
the bamcard option throughout all
the Pa. DHIA service area.
The committee finished the
agenda by critiquing the recent
fall confeimcc and decided to
hold the fall conference next year
in State Coll ge once again.
