Prices were unchanged to higher on the
East Coast and parts of the Midwest, and
elsewhere, prices remained unchanged.
The market tone was steady to firm.
Demand continued to be mixed, and was
mostly moderate to good. Supplies were
generally adequate to instances barely
adequate for immediate needs, and extra
eggs were held with confidence. Breaking
stock supplies were adequate to limited for
the mixed and sometimes increased
demand, prices were unchanged to higher
and the market tone was fully steady to
firm. Light type hen offenngs were gener
ally adequate for full plant schedules.
