sional production of a video to be
used in schools and other promo
tional settings.

For the first time last year, the
Association served a meal in Pen
nsylvania Governor Thomas
Ridge's honor at the Water Street
Rescue Mission. Outgoing presi
dent Don Brubaker said that the
dinner was given in lieu of present
ing a basket of poultry products to
the governor during die Pennsyl
vania Farm Show.
“We spent lots of money but for
good causes,” Brubaker said.
A balance of $6,198 was
reported in the treasury.
Later, Clair and Edith High pre
sented a check for $3,616, profit
from the food sales of $6,900at the
Ephrata Fair.
High said of the new food booth,
“It’s easy up, easy down, and easy
to move. Use it It’s beautiful, easy
to clean, and I expect it to look as
good in five years as it does now.”
Mattilio said that the account
balance does not include the indi
vidual memberships renewed dur
ing the banquet, and the monies
gamed at the banquet for ticket
sales, sponsor money, and the
checks from Ephrata Fair and from
PDA.
