scriptions to Pa. Holstein Profiles
and Farmshine, reduced fees for
registering cattle (when also a
national member) and a 5-percent
discount in membership if paid by
Oct. 31.
There are merchandising oppor
tunities in consignment sales, pri
vate treaty sales, disperal sales and
export sales all handled by the
PHA. The association’s 125-acre
USDA quarantine facility (Mid
dletown farm) enables the associa
tion to market cattle domestically
and internationally.
Junior activities include more
than 20 programs and contest for
junior members, include distin
guished junior member, dairy
bowl, junior judging school and
scholarship recognitions.
