Day Clinches Market Lamb Title At New Holland

Her brother Jay showed a South
down that was named reserve
champion ram over all breeds.
Another brother Jimmy showed a
ewe lamb to win the grand champ
ion Hampshire ewe title.
Radell Peters showed a Dorset
ram for the champion ram over all
breeds that went on to be named
the reserve champion sheep over
all breeds. Radell also showed the
champion Jacobs ewe.
Travis Redmond, Mohnton,
showed the reserve champion ewe
over all breeds. He also was named
reserve champion showman in the
senior division.
Showmanship in the 2-3 years
experience division was earned by
Adam Zurin. The 10-year-old cap
tured the same title at both Eli
zabethtown and the 4-H Roundup.
Adam is the son of Judy and Gary
Zurin of Ml Joy. He credits his sis
ter Sarah with teaching him the fin
er skills of sheep showing.
Adam also showed the champ
ion Suffolk ram. Andrew Gerhart
showed both champion and
reserve Suffolk ewe.
Keith Bollinger, Ephrata,
showed a yearling lamb that took
the champion Cheviot title. In both
the Columbia and Lincoln breed,
Gabriel Bowman of Drumore
showed the champion ram and his
sister Kelsey, the champion ewe.
Another sister Dallassa showed
both the champion ewe and ram
Polypay sheep.
In the Dorset breed, RadelTs
aged ewe was named champion
ewe and Christopher Swartzen
truber’s yearling ewe was the
reserve champion ewe.
