GLANCE:
Prices were unchanged to lower on the
East Coast, and unchanged elsewhere. The
market tone was steady to weak. Demand
remained light to instances good, mostly
light to fair Supplies were adequate to
ample and available. Breaking stock sup
plies were at least adequate or available for
the light to moderate demand, and plants
tan full schedules. Spent hen offerings
were short to about adequate for full plant
schedules.

was dull. Seller offerings remained readily
available and often difficult to place. Uve
supplies were mostly moderate; weights
were mixed in a full range of light to
heavy, mostly desiraVie to heavy. Process
ings schedules were moderately heavy.
Less than trucklot asking prices were 1
cent lower at 51 to 65 cents. Trade senti
ment remained weak and unsettled. In the
parts complex, most items were adequate
or available with excess supplies generally
slow in clearing.
