Gardeners are looking for new
plants every year. Here are new
flowers and vegetables that are
featured in 1998 mail order seed
catalogs , seed packets or as bed
ding plants at garden centers. This
is the second in a series.

This popular band has shared the stage with such stars as
the Judds, Reba McEntire, Ricky Skaggs, and many more.
They have appeared on TNN and at the Grand Old Opry and
performed on the Marlboro Country Music Tour. Their music
has been described as “Great variety...from driving
instrumental excellence to smooth acappella and back
again.

41st Annual Baby Parade
Judging will take place at the starting point at 1:00 p.m.
The parade will move at 2:00 p.m. In the event of rain, the
Parade and Judging will be held in the Steffy Buick
Building, 20 S. State St., Ephrata at 1 p.m.
Parade forms on Lake Street, Ephrata. Must register by
Friday, September 26 at 5 p.m. For more information
