KA Equestrian Center It was a hot day for the July schooling show held at KA Eques trian Center, Cochranville. Cold drinks sold well, and the shade that surrounds the ring and covers most of the parking area was most appreciated. Attendance was good, in spite of the heat, with particularly strong competition for the cash pleasure awards and in the short stirrup division. The early-in-the day halter class was also popular. This show was one of a scries between KA Equestrian and Graz ing Acres Farm in New London. A new award this year recog nizes the trainer bringing the most competitors to the KA Equestrian Center - Grazing Acres Horse Shows. (Dawn McCuen of KA Equestrian is excluding herself from this competition.) A trainer who brings a large group to one show has as good a chance of win ning as a trainer with fewer entries over several shows, and vice ver sa. Another series show is sched uled for Oct. 12 at KA Equestrian Center. Call (610) 255-5009 or (610) 869-0746 for information and prize lists.
