Flinchbaugh Sweeps York Fair Junior Sheep Breeding Show

Flinchbaugh made a clean sweep
of the York Fair’s junior sheep
breeding show, snagging both the
supreme ram and supreme ewe ti
tles with her Southdown home
bred entries.
The pair of champions were the
lynchpins of the 16-year-old,
York 4-H’ers 15-head showstring,
and from a line of longtime,
including national, show winners.
Also penned as part of her fair-ex
hibit flock were the well-matched
duo that won Jen the reserve
champion pairs tide in the market
classes. Capping off the veteran
junior’s successful fair run were
her champion wins in both the fit
ting and showmanship competi
tions. Reserve champion fitter was
Michael Burrell and reserve
champion showman was Drew
Bankert.
In the Shepherd’s bred and
owned classes, Adam Sellers took
champion honors and Jen Flinch
baugh was the reserve champion.
Blocking and grooming top
awards were shared by Paul Kitz
miller, champion, and Michael
Burrell, reserve.
