said their sales season is just begin
ing with wheat and the outlook is
for a good marketing season in
com and soybeans, as well as the
supporting products. Hoffman has
an advantage in that they research
products in the Northeast and see
how these products perform in
their own back yard. After they
make evaluations as to the feasa
bility of a product they also then
look if it is profitable for the
farmer.
The annual field day was held
just east of town along the Mt Joy/
Manheim road. More than 300 far
mers were expected at the event
which was scheduled to last until 7
p.m.
