Wheat bids moved higher at the dose on
continued harvest delays in spring wheat
growing country. Good overnight export
sales. Com bids dropped lower with very
h'ttle activity and lack of fresh new export
demand. Some profit taking was noted in
the com pits after yesterday's moderate
jump. Soybean bids moved shaprly lower,
erasing neiriy all of Tuesday’s gains. Fund
buying on the board and lack of fresh
export ord end. Wheat 1 to 6 cents higher.
Com 1 to 5 cemts lower. Sorghum 2 to 6
cents lower. Soybeans 4 to 14 cents lower
with Southern lowa 26 to 31 cents lower.

and heifers steady to mostly 1.00 lower.
Demand moderate for feeders following
last Friday’s bearish COP report Man
day's CME board down bant on fats but
only token down on feeders. Steer and
heifer calves 1.00-3.00 lower. Today
marks the beginning of the seasons new
crop calf sales with calves comprising a
relatively large percentage of the supply.
Calf flesh has increased from medium or
less flesh to moderate flesh. This bearing
down on price per cwt. Quality of supply
plain to avenge, end attractive. Feeder
flesh medium. Weigh conditions full to
mostly avenge. Slaughter cows .50-1.00
lower. Slaughter bulls 1.50 lower. Packer
demand light to modenle as heavy culling
in dairy industry has increased slaughter
cow number*. Total of 670 cows and bulls
sold with 65 percent going to packers.
Receipts this week 9,350; last week
10,182, last year 9,874. Supply consisted
of 65 percent yearlings and calves over 600
lbs; 28 percent calves under 600 lbs; 7 per
cent cows and bulls. Prices follow with
weighted average weight and price in
