Prices were higher. The market tone was
fully Heady to fum and had begun to settle
fay the end of the week. Demand remained
irregular, wai mostly moderate and cen
tered on leu-than-tiucklot volumes. Shell
egg supplies were tight to adequate with
surplus light weight shell eggs rooted into
breaker channels. Liquid and frozen eggs
(ingredients included) processed under
federal inspection in the Eastern region for
the week ending My 19, 1997 were 9%
less than last week, and 8% lets than the
tame week last year. Finished product
floor stocks were adequate.
