according to Dennis A. Brumbaugh of Curryview Farms,
Martinsburg. Brumbaugh said it is Important to pay atten

to potential farm success. Curryview Farms manages 220
acres and 95 registered Holsteins. On DHIA, the herd aver
ages 21,466 pounds of milk, 693 pounds of protein, and

Land O’ Lakes. They use a computer to keep farm records
and have been using a TMR since 1983. Dennis farms with
wife Teresa and son Keith, 17; daughter Traci, 14; and Den
nis’s mother, Doris, who helps on the farm, along with
sister-in-law Barbara Brumbaugh. They also employ one
part-time hired man, Paul Buell. The Brumbaughs moved
onto the farm in 1968, and Dennis’s father Don was farm
ing the land since 1953. Dennis took over the farm In 1974.
